“I’m fascinated by how our life experiences and inherent brain differences shape how we think, cope and relate to others.  I make sure to listen to your unique experience of the world to understand why you think and react in the way you do. You can’t control what happens – but you can learn to have empathy for yourself in how the uncontrollable impacts you!”

Therapeutic Approach

My training is in Psychodynamic therapy, focusing on unconscious processes and underlying thought patterns. I listen closely to each person’s unique experience of the world and adapt my approach, combining multiple modalities to ensure the correct approach and care is being provided to support their needs as they evolve throughout therapy.

Specialisms & Conditions Treated

I work with all mental health issues and experiences, but specialise in:

  • Eating disorders
  • High-masking neurodivergence
  • Neurodivergent mental health issues & difficulties in society

Professional Background & Experience

For five years before qualifying as a therapist, Lucy worked at a rehabilitation centre for addictions and eating disorders. She then began working as a therapist at a charity in London, before setting up her private practice as a Psychodynamic Therapist. Across these roles, she has developed a deep interest in how everyone’s experience and inherent brain function leads us to form widely different opinions, ways of managing stressors, and how we relate to and interact with others.
