I am an integrative therapist working within the Clarkson model. At its core, my approach is humanistic and believes in the reparative experience of our relationship that we build in the room together. I also lean into using some CBT elements if the client finds them useful, and might give you some things to think about or do at home as part of the process.
Louise has 10 years of experience of equine-assisted therapy, working with horses as part of the therapeutic process in both individual and group sessions. She later qualified as a BACP Counsellor (FdSc, level 5) in 2024, using an integrative approach based on the Clarkson model as she works with clients one-to-one. Louise has a background in psychology and neuropsychology, with experience in behavioural economics, neuroscience-informed wellbeing, and performance coaching.
